I have a W7x64 system with Boinc 7.2.42 (x64) installed.
In Boinc Manager, advanced view, I selected the Projects Tab, Albert and clicked No new tasks.
I then increased the CPU usage from 50% to 90% (7/8 threads) and immediately received new tasks from Albert.
I suspended these tasks, and immediately received yet more tasks which automatically ran in high priority mode!
Fortunately I was able to suspend the project, which worked.
I'm using Bam! which may be to blame in some way.

No new tasks doesn't work on one system

Well, with your computer hidden, we can't even read the server log - which is accessible at this project - to see what really happened.
I didn't want to spam the boards with my stats - just milestone theads - but apparently signatures are no longer optional. Follow the link if you're interested.

I checked Bam! settings and they were fine (no new Albert tasks).
However when I synchronised with Bam! Boinc uploaded over 300 tasks, all reported as Aborted by user.
The problem likely stems from a system crash/freeze, that I only spotted a couple of days ago. Something became corrupt. I'll abort anything running, as it's likely corrupt too, and at some stage I'll wipe the disk and start again.
Thanks,
