I've just spotted that a task for this new application sneaked in under the radar a couple of days ago and errored out with the following at the end of its stderr:
<message> upload failure: <file_xfer_error> <file_name>gwinspiral_CBC1_1462278717_28642_short_7_1</file_name> <error_code>-161 (not found)</error_code> </file_xfer_error> </message>
4 of the other tasks issued for WU gwinspiral_CBC1_1462278717_28642_short ended in the same way.

Replying to my own post because there's no option to edit the first post in a thread.
Just after posting I realised that I didn't make it clear that the <stderr_txt> block appears to indicate that the task was successfully completed but didn't generate its upload file:

Indeed there was an error in the "job specification". Jobs have been canceled. Sorry, our fault.
