I hit update and completed tasks don't disappear from the list at BOINC Manager and I believe the host doesn't get new work either. Project sets additional delay.

thanks for reporting. I fixed a few tasks in the database and you should now be able to parse the server reply. The problem was a missing / in a XML tag of a CBC task.
