Does anyone know what the situation is with FGRP4 tasks? I knows its been quite a while since I have gotten any work from albert@home, but the server reports that there are some FGRP4 tasks available, and some in progress. Is that just a glitch with the server? I would also note that on my account preferences page, there isn't an option to select FGRP4 tasks. Thank you all for your time.

A few days ago my computer was able to download FGRP4 tasks and crunch them fine. Then I needed to stop Albert temporarily from loading more work.
A little later I set it back to load more work, but it just doesn't seem to download anything anymore. I look at the Albert server status and there seems to be still over 2000 tasks ready to send.
I have tried to update, restart, change computer "location" and adjust the project setting back and forth. Nothing helps. No more work. I have adjusted BOINC to keep work for at least 7 days and for example now it has work only for about 3 days (one other project). Still Albert hasn't wanted to download any new tasks since Saturday.
Here's what the BOINC log says:
Requesting new tasks for CPU and NVIDIA GPU
Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
No tasks sent
I'm I beeing punished for setting the project temporarily on pause? :D

So... There are a few factors some come into play here:
The result of all that is that the scheduler "thinks" that your host (only one of them requested work during the past month) is too slow.
One thing that's important here: how exactly did you "stop" the project? Did you "suspend" the project (or runnings tasks) or did you set it to "no new tasks"? It depends on the exact action whether your host might indeed be too slow or the scheduler made an incorrect judgement...
Thanks,
Oliver

Hi!
I used the "no new tasks" option... I didn't actually stop or suspend the project. Sorry, I wasn't very precise when I wrote about this earlier.
Okay, if deadline is 3 days, that perhaps is the reason now. This host (no other hosts involved) might still have just a little bit too much work to complete first. I'll have to keep trying the "update" button in near future.
Since you used "no new tasks"
)
Since you used "no new tasks" your computer should still be in good shape (in terms of our records of it). Suspending tasks for longer durations would have skewed it's performance numbers which are used to determine whether a host can finish a task in time. In your case all should be fine and the "too slow" judgement might actually be correct then.
