BOINC Open Source Project Looking for Experienced macOS Developers

The Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing (BOINC) system is the software infrastructure used by Einstein@Home and many other volunteer distributed computing projects. The BOINC Open Source Project is looking for volunteers to develop and maintain the BOINC client on macOS. The BOINC Client and Manager are C++ cross-platform code supporting Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, and several other operating systems. We currently have a number of volunteer developers supporting Windows and Linux, but our main macOS developer is winding down his involvement after many years.

Jan 6th: UWM network maintenance

I apologize for the late notice, but UWM IT networking will be performing a maintenance window for all of UWM services on January 6th 2019 (2019-01-06) from 0600 UTC to 1400 UTC. There is may short periods of network outages as the networking equipment is upgraded. During these times Albert@Home project might not be available. As usual volunteers will not need to do anything with their clients. Thanks for your patience.

Albert@Home project downtime 2018-12-05

The Albert@Home project will be stopped for a window for a server upgrade. This is planned for Wednesday 2018-12-05 at 1900 UTC. This corresponds to 2000 CET Central Europe and 1400 EST East-coast North America. Volunteers do not have to do anything with their clients. The Web site and project server will be down for about 30-45 minutes for this upgrade. Thanks for your patience.
