I just downloaded these and for some reason the completion time is very high.
Right now running only Albert and have Einstein set to no new tasks.

3 BRP3SSE reporting over 2600 hrs to complete

I had one reporting 435 hours to complete and was running in high priority. Now its is at 60% in about 28 hours and running normally.

All three are about 50-55%

All three are about 50-55% done at this time and the completion time has gone way down.

I'm currently unable to start

I'm currently unable to start a new thread, but this old thread looks similar to the problem I'm seeing.

Workunit  PB0073_01461_26_7 appears to have had a very bad estimate of how long it would run.

It's now at 74.623% progress, 02:41:10 elapsed, estimated remaining 355:18:20.  The estimated remaining is decreasing at several minutes every second, though.

I'm waiting to see if it completes properly - it looks like it might.

According to your Application details for your host, it is your initial 'BRP Search (Perseus Arm Survey) v1.40 (BRP5-cuda32-nv301) task, so the long estimated runtime is expected, although not particularly liked:

http://albertathome.org/host/1361/apps?page=2

Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Perseus Arm Survey) 1.40 windows_intelx86 (BRP5-cuda32-nv301)

Number of tasks completed: 0

Max tasks per day: 32

Number of tasks today: 3

Consecutive valid tasks: 0

Average processing rate: 0 GFLOPS

Average turnaround time: 0 days

Once your host has completed 11 validations, then the server will send accurate estimated runtimes.

Another workunit with a very

Another workunit with a very bad initial estimate of the runtime:

PB007101191_138_6

Now at 24.686% progress, 00:50:48 elapsed, 998:20:01 estimated remaining.

Estimated remaining is dropping close to one hour per second elapsed.

Also, is there any good reason why the posts is this forum are now in

These bad estimates are a

These bad estimates are a known issue. We're testing BOINC's "new" way of runtime estimation here on albert and so far we're far from being convinced. Thus we don't use it on einstein...

What exactly do you mean by "alphabetical order" (ordered by which property)? Please check your community preferencesreset the post order to your preferred setting and see if it helps.
